I am super glad to write this recipe recap of this month long baking marathon, where I posted all my eggless bakes. I started to participate in these month long marathons from April 2015, and with this year completion, I have hit a hat-trick.
I need to agree that month long marathons are fun, but at the same time, it’s tedious and can get stressful when things don’t go as planned. This year also had its fair share of dramas, stressful moments, new recipe experiments and what not. But now it’s all done, and I am happy to look back at it. This year even though I completed more than half of the recipes ahead, I did not draft the post or edit the images. All those were happening at the last moment. Luckily I was able to spend one whole weekend on drafting and scheduling, and that helped me a lot especially during the last week.
As you all know, this year theme was A to Z baking from around the world, and this marathon paved the way for me to try different baked goodies and to play with yeast :-) If not for this marathon, I wouldn’t have explored the recipes from Sweden, Czech etc . As always I learned a lot of recipes and their history from the fellow bloggers. This learning curve is the primary motivating factor that always pushes to sign up for these mega marathons. One single post is not sufficient to share what I learnt. I have bookmarked quite a few recipes, and I can’t wait to try them out. Hope you all enjoyed this marathon and I would like to thank you all for your excellent support and encouragement. Without any further ado here is the quick link recap and find the pictorial ones below that.
