    Healthy Simple Snack Idea

Looking for some simple homemade healthy snacks for kids? Here is a two-ingredient baked recipe – Apple Chips. All you need are some crisp apples and powdered cinnamon. If your apples are tangy you can use some powdered sugar. You can whip this up in no time.

Luckily apples are available here all the year around. I used honey crisp apples for this recipe and I peeled the skin off unless you are sure that there are no wax coats. The other key thing with this recipe is the baking time. It completely depends on how thin your apple slices are.

I baked it for 12 minutes at 350 degree F and flipped it and baked it again for 12-13 minutes. After 12 minutes when you are flipping depending on the moisture content you can set the cooking time. Make sure you keep an eye on them.

Once the apples starts to curl up you can remove it and let it cool.

Hi Sharmila, thanks for trying it out. Gala does take some time. Instead of aluminum foil try it in parchment paper. I baked it 12 mts on one side n 13 mts after flipping and cooled it. Also I kept in middle rack of my oven.
