Refreshing raspberry green tea spritzer made in Instant Pot! This iced tea is a perfect thirst quencher and great for parties and picnics.

I love tea mocktails, and this Instant Pot raspberry green tea spritzer is my absolute favorite. This is a non-alcoholic green tea spritzer. I have used some club soda for that fizz which makes it perfect for parties and picnics. But you can skip it or swap it with coconut water too.

Make this in gallons (trust me, there won’t be any leftovers) and hydrate yourself. Making this green tea spritzer in Instant Pot is quite easy and straightforward.

When I can make hot milk tea in Instant Pot, why not iced tea? You can make the raspberry green tea base well ahead, refrigerate and add soda just before serving.

    This raspberry green tea is

    • Made with fresh ingredients.
    • Refined sugar-free. I have used maple syrup to sweeten up this iced tea.
    • Easy to prepare in Instant Pot.
    • Customizable. (Check the ingredient section for more details)

    Ingredients required

Green tea: The main ingredient of this recipe! I used organic loose green tea leaves. You can use green tea bags also. As I am using raspberries, I went with plain green tea. You can also use flavored green tea bags.

Raspberries: I used fresh raspberries for this tea. You can use mixed berries or other berries of your choice. According to the sweetness of your berries, adjust the sweetener.

Maple syrup: I used maple syrup to sweeten the tea. You can use honey or other sweeteners of your choice.

Water & soda: I used 4 cups of water and 2 cups of club soda for this recipe. You can use sparkling water, plain or flavored, instead of club soda too. I have explained the difference between club soda and sparkling water in my paneer soda post. Do check it out. Alternatively, you can use coconut water too if you don’t prefer a fizzy drink.

Lemon: I love lemon or lime in my green tea. So I always add few slices. It’s optional.

Is baking soda required to reduce the bitterness in the tea?

We love that slightly bitter taste of the tea, so I have never added baking soda. If you like smooth and sweet tea, you can add a pinch of baking soda while brewing the tea. I wouldn’t recommend adding more than ⅛ tsp for this measure.

Now that we have seen the ingredients let’s see how to make this iced raspberry green tea with step-wise pictures.

How to make raspberry green tea in Instant Pot

    • Add 4 cups of water, 4 tsp of green tea leaves, and the entire raspberries to the inner pot of the Instant Pot.
fresh raspberries and green tea with water in the inner pot of the IP
    • Close the Instant Pot. Make sure the sealing ring is in place and set the vent to the sealing position. Press the pressure cook / manual button and set the cooking time as 2 minutes at high pressure.

    • When the cooking is complete, let the pressure release naturally. Carefully open the Instant Pot.

    • Using a potato masher, mash the raspberries roughly.

    • Strain the tea and discard the tea and the raspberries. Add the maple syrup and mix well. Add the lemon slices if using and refrigerate.

    • When ready to serve, add the club soda and mix. Serve chilled.

    Recipe Notes

    • Adjust the maple syrup measure as per your preference.
    • You can reserve few raspberries for garnishing, but I added them all along with the tea.
    • Make sure your sealing ring is well-cleaned. If you have a separate sealing ring that you use for sweets, make sure to use that.
    • Scaling the recipe: You can double the measure if using a 6-quart or 8-quart Instant Pot.
    • Variations: You can use flavored tea bags or use mixed berries or berries of your choice. Instead of club soda, use sparkling water (flavored or plain) or coconut water too.
    • The ratio I followed: For 1 cup of water, I used 1 tbsp of maple syrup, 1 tsp green tea leaves, and ½ cup of soda. There is no set measure. Adjust as per your liking.
    • Add a pinch of baking soda to reduce the bitterness of the green tea.
