Oats Dosa

Ingredients
Oats – 2 cups
Curd – ¼ cup
Water – 2 cups
Wheat flour – 2 tbsps.
Rice flour – 3 tbsps.
Fine Rava / Sooji – ½ cup
Half of medium size onion finely chopped
Curry leaves – 1 strand
Chopped Cilantro - 2tbsps.
Green Chillies – 2
Oil – 1 tsp + for dosa
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 2 tsps.
Hing – ½ tsp
Salt – 2 tsps.
Adjust according to your taste
Instructions
Grind the oats with curd and green chillies.
Add the rice flour, wheat flour, rava and salt to this mixture.
Add two cups of water and mix well. Let it sit for 10- 15 minutes and your dosa batter is ready.
Now add the finly chopped onions, cilantro and curry leaves.
In the tadka pan heat the oil and once the oil is hot add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds and hing.
As they start to splutter add it to the batter and mix well.
Prepare the dosa in the usual way.
Spread the batter in the tawa and add oil around the dosa. It took close 50 secs for the top part to be cooked. The color changes as below.
Now flip the dosa and let it cook for 30 to 40 secs. That’s it. The dosa is done.
Serve it with any chutneys of your choice. I served this with the peanut chutney.
