Aloe Vera Juice | Homemade Lemon and Ginger Flavored Aloe Vera Juice

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Chopped Aloe Vera Gel part
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 piece Ginger 2-inch
  • 4 tsps Sugar or as required
  • 1 Lemon medium sized

Instructions

  • Cut the aloe vera and extract the gel part alone. I am still learning to chop it correctly. I had to chop in multiple steps to extract the gel. Make sure you are only using the middle portion.
  • Peel the ginger skin and chop it roughly.
  • Blend the chopped aloe, ginger along with water.
  • Squeeze in the lemon juice and add the sugar.
  • Mix it well. Strain the juice and refrigerate.

Notes

Serving Suggestions: Too much intake of aloe juice and gel is not recommendable. So I would suggest diluting the prepared juice further with little more water. I took 3/4 cup of the ready juice and mixed quarter more cup of water before serving.
Notes:
  • You can adjust the amount of ginger, sugar and, lemon as per your preference.
  • You can include any citrus juice and also mint.
  • Instead of sugar, you can use honey or jaggery.
