Idli batter Pakoras

Ingredients
Leftover sour idli batter - 2 cups
Rava / Sooji - ½ cup
Onion - 1
Pepper - 1 tbsp
Salt - 2 tsp
adjust according to your taste
Baking soda - ¼ tsp
Green chillies - 2
Rice flour - 1 tbsp
Water - 1 cup
Oil - for frying
Instructions
Chop the onions and green chillies.
Now add the onions, green chillies, rava, pepper, salt, baking soda and rice flour to the idli batter.
Mix them well by adding water. (The consistency should be thick, so add ½ cup of water and if required add more)
Let the batter sit for 30 minutes.
Heat the oil and use the round spatula to pour the batter in the oil.
Fry till they are golden brown.
That’s it. Yummy pakoras are ready. Serve hot with coconut chutney or ketchup.
Notes
Along with onion, you can add carrots, peas also to make it mixed vegetable pakora.
Adjust the salt and spices according to your preference.
