Ingredients

Instructions
Prep-Work:
Make the kara boondi, and you can find the recipe here.
Steps:
I fried all the items right after making my boondi. But if you had made kara boondi well ahead, then heat the oil for frying the other ingredients.
Fry the roasted gram dal over medium heat until it turns light brown.
Remove them from oil and keep it on a tissue paper.
Then reduce the heat to low and add the flattened rice and cashews and immediately turn off the heat.
Remove them from oil and drain the excess oil.
Allow them to cool for a couple of minutes.
Now in a mixing bowl, add the kara boondi, fried roasted gram, flattened rice and cashews. Toss them together.
If required add salt and red chili powder, not more than ½ a tsp.
That's it mixture is ready.

Notes
Do not fry aval over medium or high heat. Fry it as the last ingredient and after adding turn off the heat immediately.
You can include almonds and other nuts as well.
There is no set measure for the ingredients, and you can adjust according to your preference.
