Simple Tadka rice with mustard seeds, urad dhal and channa dhal. A great way to use the left over rice.
Left over rice: 2 cups
Oil – 2 tsp
Mustard seeds – 2 tsps
Channa dhal – 2 tsps
Urad dhal – 2 tsps
Hing – 2 tsps
Curry leaves - 1 strand
Mor Milagai or Sun Dried Green Chillies– 3
Salt – 1 tsp
Heat the pan or kadai and add oil.
Once the oil is hot add the mustard seeds, channa dhal and urad dhal.
As they start to splutter add the dried chillies, hing and curry leaves.
The dried chillies should get fried and then turn off the heat.
Now add the left over rice and salt and mix well. That’s it Oggarane Anna is ready.
