In a pot or pan, heat 2 cups of water but adding 2 tbsps of thai tea.
Once the water starts to boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer in low flame for 5 minutes and then turn of the heat. By now the entire kitchen will be filled with the aroma of Thai tea.
Filter the tea and to this add the condensed milk and sugar and make sure the sugar dissolves and the condensed milk is incorporated well.
Now fill the cups with crushed ice. (Atleast 3/4 of the cup)
First add the filtered and cooled tea-condensed milk mix in equally into the glasses.
Then add the evaporated milk equally into the glasses.
Finally top it up with a 1 tbsp of coconut milk in each glass.
That’s it. Thai iced tea is ready. Slurp and enjoy.
If you can’t find evaporated milk, use regular 2% milk (boiled and cooled) You can skip sugar and add more condensed milk. Also if required add more coconut milk or you can skip it also. Adjust the sugar and tea quantity according to your preference.
