If you get fresh nungu, go for it. Peel the white outer skin and chop them finely.
If you are using canned one, filter the syrup and rinse them in running water nicely.
Peel the lychee outer layer and also deseed them.
In a blender first puree the ice apple and lychee along with sugar and water.
Now to this add the yogurt and blend well.
If required add 1/2 more cup of water.
Check for sugar and adjust accordingly.
Refrigerate them and serve chilled. Before serving, drizzle a tsp of rose syrup on top.
That’s it. Yummy Ice Apple and Lychee Lassi is ready.
As the canned ice-apple had already sugar, I went with 1 tbsp of sugar. But adjust accordingly to the taste of nungu. You can also increase the lychee according to your preference. This recipe can be only prepared with lychee or with nungu or combined.
