Broccoli-Masoor Dal Tadka / Kadaiyal

This is a simple dal tadka prepared with masoor dal and to get the daily dose of veggies in our diet, I sneaked in some broccoli. If you are not accustomed to Broccoli, this would be my best bet.

Masoor dal is the red lentils and it is one of the dals that can be cooked fast and easily and I love the flavor too. Usually I do prepare plain dal tadka and in Tamil Nadu we call it as paruppu kadaiyal. I figured out that dal tadka is the best way to sneak in the veggies for the kiddo and for ourselves too. So tried different varieties of veggie dal tadkas and here I am with our recent favorite broccoli-masoor dal tadka
